Nagra is a Polish word meaning “will record”. The interest in his invention was immediate. The Nagra II and III followed in the mid to late ‘50s revolutionizing the world of radio broadcasting, cinema and music.
In recognition of his contribution to culture and science, the Nagra Company received numerous awards including Oscars® in 1978 and 1991. Today Nagra enjoys universal fame and the word “Nagra” is associated with the best Swiss technology."

As I always mention, the mono cartridge is a key component for audio systems.
There are many audio system fans who love Jazz and Classical music to play on LPs. As you may know over 50% of well known superior LP's are monophonic.

"The patented Miyajima cross-ring stereo cartridge design explained:
When the right and the left coils cross, each other's middle point overlaps. I make that middle point the fulcrum of the cantilever's movement. By this method, each coil makes a rotary motion to the movement of the stylus. Therefore, electricity (audio signals) can be created only with a coil without parts of the windings interfering with the iron core magnetic field. The unrestricted coils can move freely, creating true audio signals.
The cross ring method synchronizes the center point of the coil of right- and left channel, enabling correct reproduction by providing the cantilever's center point clear, free movement.
The cross ring method had splendid abilities. I felt speed first and it is a natural sound. There is not the unnecessary incidental sound. It is a good sound of the channel separation. Musicians' thoughts and feelings were felt in music, and there was a realistic charm in the tone of the musical instrument, and the voice was warm and felt vitality. I was convinced that a cross ring method was different from a conventional cartridge, greatly."
