The MMF-5.3's distinctive design features top and bottom platforms separated by viso-elastic cones, which provide vibration damping. The turntable comes complete with an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge, properly aligned and mounted, and a counterweight that is decoupled from the arm to act as a resonance damper.
