• Second-generation TLIE-I cabinet (Taga Low Interference Enclosures) – a stiffer structure to reduce unwanted resonances: thicker 21 mm MDF front baffle.
• New high-quality damping material to better break up standing waves, reduce resonances, and limit distortion, improving overall sound.
• Upgraded 1” (25 mm) silk dome tweeter with an oversized Φ70 magnet, ferrofluid cooling, and a heavy-duty copper voice coil can handle high power; its performance is highly precise, clear, smooth, detailed, and airy.
• Second-generation TWG-I tweeter faceplate (Taga WaveGuide) – a specialized horn-like design that helps evenly and smoothly disperse sound both on and off axis. In the latest version, the shape and depth have been redesigned to provide better sound flow and even wider dispersion, helping to create a more three-dimensional and natural soundstage. Fewer components also mean better structural rigidity, lower distortion, and reduced resonances.
• Upgraded 165 mm (6.5”) bass-midrange driver – an ultra-light polypropylene cone with an elastic rubber surround ensures fast movement and smooth, full, and very natural midrange reproduction. The powerful voice coil and Φ70 magnet can withstand high temperatures and high current. The flat dust cap promotes airflow and evens out frequency response.
