The Pure Diamond Pickup System with Yan Suspension

Skyanalog’s diamond cantilever marks a significant step forward in material engineering. Paired with the Yan suspension system, it establishes a new reference in sound reproduction:

• Diamond-on-diamond synergy – Combining a diamond stylus with a diamond cantilever delivers unmatched rigidity, minimizing signal loss between the record groove and the cartridge. However, this identical-material pairing can also introduce resonance, prompting Skyanalog to develop a redesigned suspension that effectively suppresses unwanted vibrations.

• Lightweight precision – Diamond’s lower density produces a lighter cantilever, which demands superior vibration absorption and a finely tuned dynamic suspension to maintain accuracy without increasing tracking force.

• Tailored suspension design – The unique properties of diamond require a custom suspension solution. The Yan system ensures optimal vibration transfer without the risk of over-springing.
